At Mechkralla primary school
Letter to our supporters
We are pleased to share with you the memories of our third WATCH Morocco mission that took place this summer in Mechkralla school (Chefchaouen region) and was a great success. With 14 moroccan and international volunteers, and 80 kids between 7 and 14 years old, this 10 days mission was once again a unique opportunity for sharing and communicating the WATCH values - sharing, passion, solidarity, diversity. Through artistic and cultural activities, a real contact is established between the volunteers who came from different backgrounds to share their passion and artistic talents, and the kids who are all so curious and eager to learn with new unfamiliar methods.
Furthermore, WATCH also contributes to improve the daily life of the kids from Mechkralla. To do so, our team raised a maximum of funds and received generous donations to bring good quality material to lead the mission and to give each kid a backpack filled for the school year as well as a set of clothes for them and their family. The donations also allowed us to refurbish some of the facilities necessary to the blossoming of the children (painting the classrooms, building a library, providing kitchenware and tableware for the kids’ lunches, etc.)
We want to thank each one of our valuable donor, each volunteer, and everyone who got involved and helped to make our WATCH Morocco 2015 mission a success. We would also like to give a special thanks to our partner association El Baraka Angels who has been supporting us for 3 years and has been a great help in the field. Our adventure is not over, keep up to date with the organisations of our next WATCH missions!
